2nd International Leadership Assembly: Mexico
National Supt. Martin Torres and Bob traveled to Colombia
Oct. 2-9 for meetings with other international leaders in
Latin America and for JIBACAM (Latin American Missions
Board). Of special importance to our work was the meeting
of the Association of Wesleyan Schools unifying a basic
curriculum for ordination requirements. Bob will be helping
to develop this curriculum for use on line and in Bible
School extensions.

Puebla Bible School: We are at the mid-semester point.
Students and teachers are doing well! The baby born with
complications to prospective students is doing well too!

Oct. 23-27 National Board Meeting in Cuidad Valles
Will be mainly to revise the Mexico version of the
Discipline, but will also be discussing possibility of
partnering with the Jesus Film Project in Mexico. We are
also presenting a new focus for our ministry for the next
four-year term: the Bible School extensions,
correspondence and video, and on line classes.

Nov. 8-11 Short-term Class in Coxcatlan, S.L.P. on
Church Growth
Rev. David Anderson and his team from Fountain City
Wesleyan in Indiana will be teaching a 3-day conference
on Church Growth for our Puebla students, Central District
extension students, and Central District pastors.

Kids Memorize the Books of the Old Testament
In their Sunday School class the kids have been working on
memorizing the books of the Old Testament. Elisabeth and
Aaron know them all, and Elisabeth can recite most of them
in Spanish as well as English!

Sept. 22-23 Grays Visit Extension in
Oaxaca
We took the whole family this time to learn
about the Sierra Mazateca (mountain
range) in Oaxaca. Bob was the guest
speaker at the first anniversary of the Bible
School extension there.

Oct. 2-9 Bob Travels to Colombia,
South America
Bob met with leaders and other
missionaries in Theological Education in
Latin America. This was part of the 2nd
JIBACAM Leadership Conference.
